Once you've submitted your enquiry, we’ll arrange a phone call to discuss your project in more detail. This is an opportunity for us to find out more about each other and for me to understand your business better, along with your ambitions for your site. It’s also a chance for you to ask me any questions.
In-depth questionnaire
If you decide to proceed, I'll send you an in-depth questionnaire where you can tell us more about your organisation, your customers, and your website requirements. Your answers will help to inform both the look and feel of the site and any technical aspects.
One-to-one build slot
You'll be my only client during your build slot, so your project will have my full attention and I'll be available to respond to any queries you might have.
2-hour live Squarespace training/website handover
Once your website is published, we'll have a 2-hour live training/handover session via screenshare, where I will show you around Squarespace and get you comfortable editing and updating your website yourself.

Not anymore. We love WordPress, and used to offer WordPress websites. It’s a highly customisable, powerful and flexible platform, perfect for individuals and companies looking for full control and customisation over every aspect of their site. But increasingly our customers have been drawn to our Squarespace packages because they like its flexibility, ease of use and stunning design. Best of all there are no monthly maintenance and security updates as Squarespace takes care of all of this behind the scenes. And with a million other things to think about our clients are grateful we aren’t adding to the list.
The truth is WordPress and Squarespace both have their strengths and weaknesses. Overall, we think Squarespace provides the functionality that most of our clients need: it’s easy to use; there’s less maintenance and lower costs in the long run. They also get dedicated 24/7 technical support. For us it means we can create sites quickly at very competitive prices. And when an hour of coding in WordPress turns into seconds in Squarespace with just a few clicks of the mouse, it’s hard to resist.

None of our packages include copywriting as standard, but we’re happy to write your content for you. Just tell us what you need and we’ll add this into your quote. All we ask is that any copywriting work is scheduled in and completed before our web design and build start date, as our package timelines are based on having everything we need before we start, and we hate to miss a deadline!

Yes, we offer a range of logo and brand design options from basic in-house logo design using template design software, to a complete visual identity undertaken by one of our associate graphic designers incorporating logo, colours, fonts, imagery, style guide document, and logo set in different colour and file formats. Basic in-house logo design can most likely be completed within any of our package timelines. If you require our graphic designer to produce your logo or broader visual identity, then this work will need to be scheduled in and completed ahead of the start date.

It’s probably best to talk to us about this as it really depends on what you need. We can take photos for you, or you might prefer to hire a professional photographer (we can make recommendations) or select some high-quality stock photos to use on your website. Again, all we ask is that any photography work is scheduled in and completed before our web design and build start date, as our package timelines are based on having everything we need from the off.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a web design and build slot. The final 50% is due just before the site is made live, after which full ownership of the site will be transferred to you.

Anne Tregoning has over 17 years experience in public sector and charity communications. After beginning her career in the charity sector she went on to manage internal communications and branding at Islington Council, Anne later spent three years at the Audit Commission, shaping their internal communications function and leading on a number of strategic campaigns.
Anne is an experienced writer and editor with detailed knowledge of the production process. She also has a flair for design and a nerdy love of Squarespace and as such leads on all web and graphic design for our full communications and design agency sister site, Kindlemix Communications, of which she is joint founder and creative director.
Role in your web project
Anne will take overall responsibility for your project, acting as account director, ensuring quality and overseeing the planning and scheduling of all work. Anne will also lead on creative direction and web development.
Caitlin leads on communications strategy and content development for Kindlemix. She has over 17 years’ experience in not for profit marketing and communications. She founded Kindlemix in 2010 and has since delivered a wide range of strategic marketing, communications and digital projects to the charity and public sectors. Prior to this she was Head of Marketing at Turning Point, the UK’s largest social care charity.
She has an MA in publishing, giving her strong expertise in editorial practice and production management, and is an experienced project manager. As a professional writer and editor, she prides herself on being able to translate complex information into straightforward and engaging copy.
